Dylan On Dylan

I've been trying to find a good book to read these days, not that i'm bored with reading the twiligh saga (believe me i've read those four books about a 1000 times and i still love them). I'm a fan of the classics, Jane Austin, Charllote and Emily Bronte, Oscar Wild and so on but i wanted to read something new, fresh, a real story.

I've been painting my room for the past couple of days and as i had to move most of my stuff around i've been finding alot of things i've forgotten i had.

I found this book i boutgh back in England last year, called ''Dylan On Dylan" and decided to give it a shot. the book is a gathering of some of the interviews he's given since 1962.

I've been learning some much from reading them, it's helping me to understand him as an artist and as a person, and i can see how he has never been afraid of showing who he really is, taking risks and staying true to himself.

There are some amazing quotes in this book, and i'm going to post some of them from time to time. reading about someone who have a life like his inspire me to do the best i can in every aspect of my life, and personally i think we all should have some Bob Dylan in us.

These beautiful pictures were taken from a 1962 book called Five Girls, i find the 60's a really facinating, and also an important time to music as well as fashion.

You might recognize some of them, one in particular cause it was the artwork to The Last Shadow Puppets first album 'The Age Of The Understatement', i just fell in love with the picture instantly and found out that they were taken from this book.

I love them cause they are very sexy, feminine and quite rock n roll.

Proving that you can be classy sexy with a touch of vintage.

I went to Coldplay's gig last night, i live in Rio de Janeiro and here rarely rains and it's never cold, well last night wasn't a typical Rio de janeiro's evening, it rainned alot, and it was cold and windy.... how can i describe it...humm... like an english summer weather!

i felt like i was in glasto, minus the mud and all the amazing bands playing, tonight it was Coldplay's night.

Don't get me wrong i'm not complaining, i miss the english weather ( yes i know i'm crazy) so it felt alittle bit like home to me.

The concert it self was amazing, i had forgoten how much i love coldplay.

Chris Martin's voice, energy, musician skills and lyrics are just too good to be true, actually all the band were sounding like perfection.

Moments i know i'm never going to forget, i don't know if it's just with me, but when i go to a concert i'm 100% there, i want to absorb every emotion, every word, every note, and it moves me so much even to tears like last night (i know really embarrassing) but what can i say, i really love music!

I read somewhere that people that wacthed them in Argentina were flying to Rio to see them again.

i thought it was abit silly to fly all that and i also thought that they maybe too rich to see how much money they are spending .....but still.... after wacthing their gig.... i got to confess...i would do the exact same thing.
